YF Life Insurance International Ltd. (“YF Life”) has announced its impressive 2024 financial results, showcasing resilience and agility amidst a challenging market. Driven by prudent business strategies and exceptional team execution, YF Life experienced significant growth in core business metrics during the second half, demonstrating strong upward momentum.

Core Business Highlights

The 2024 results revealed notable increases in the second half compared to its first half:  

  • New business premium1 increased by 55%, reflecting YF Life’s strong competitiveness in the market and broad customer recognition of its products.
  • New business premium from the agent’s channel1 surged by 92%, while the broker’s channel1 grew by 37%, highlighting the company’s ability to expand across diverse distribution network.
  • Onshore new business premium2 recorded a 57% increase, while offshore new business premium2 rose by 42%, both indicating healthy growth.

Financial Strength and Risk Management
YF Life continues to uphold its commitment to financial prudence and risk discipline. As of year-end 2024, the company reported a solvency ratio exceeding 240%3, above the statutory minimum requirement of 100%. This robust capital position highlights the company’s enduring financial strength and sound risk management capabilities.

In addition, YF Life has been awarded an “A-” (Strong) Insurer Financial Strength Rating by Fitch Ratings for seven consecutive years — reaffirming the company’s strong capitalization and financial performance.
